Software Installation and Data Storage
Instructors may suggest or request software to be installed on lab and technology classroom machines by CLC staff and may provide data accessible to students either with our help or on their own. Software that doesn't require any installation or customization (rare) may be provided by instructors without our assistance.
| Software installation requests must be received at least 6 weeks prior to the beginning of the semester. Requests received with less lead time will be processed on a "best effort" basis. Follow the links below for more details. |
Software Types
Several different types of software have different policies and contact information:
- General Use -- installed on all machines, purchased and supported for by CLC
- Courseware -- provided and supported by the instructor
- Demonstration -- temporarily installed on podium macines, personal laptops and loaner laptops
